Schlagwörtlich „Alleinstellungsmerkmal“ genannt wird der Begriff, den die Austragungsorte suchen, um sich untereinander abzuheben und vor allen Dingen, um die Medien anzulocken.Mit sportlichem Elan und ganz im Sinne des WM-Gedankens schafft die Julius Bär See-Arena einen besonderen Rahmen für die Besucher, Gäste und Einwohner der WM-Stadt Stuttgart im Fußballsommer 2006. Als dekonstruktivistisches Fußballfeld mitten im Eckensee ist die Julius Bär See-Arena die atmosphärische Erweiterung der Stuttgarter Innenstadt und kongenialer Anziehungspunkt für die Gäste aus Stuttgart, der Region und aller Welt. Die Julius Bär See-Arena bietet in der Heimatstadt des Bundestrainers den Raum, da wo man auch über die Fußballspiele sprechen kann. Anknüpfend an den Erfolg der Plattform im Jahr 2005 anlässlich des Festivals Theater der Welt, wurde nach einem Entwurf der Architekturstudentin Janine Reichel dieses dekonstruktivistische Fußballfeld konzipiert. Der Begriff Dekonstruktivismus bezieht sich auf eine architektonische Stilrichtung, die Anfang des 20igsten Jahrhunderts durch die russische Avantgarde entwickelt wurde und 1988 von Philip Johnson und Mark Wigley im Museum of Modern Art in New York in einer inszenierten Ausstellung “Deconstructivist Architecture“ thematisiert wurde. Dabei werden Struktur und Form simultan einer Destruktion und einer erneuten Konstruktion unterzogen. (Zitat Wikipedia) Die Julius Bär See-Arena ist somit eine begehbare künstlerische Intervention im öffentlichen Raum. Die Form nimmt spielerisch das Thema Fußball auf. Fußball als Metapher; die Kreativität des Spiels überträgt sich in die Raumgestaltung der Innenstadt. Zwei Tribünen bieten die Möglichkeit sich inmitten der Urbanität zu entspannen und mit einem Blick auf das bauliche Ensemble rund um den Eckensee die weltläufige Atmosphäre des Sportereignisses zu genießen. Mit dem Fußballrasen unter den Füßen und einer Erfrischung aus den gastronomisch betriebenen Fußballtoren hinaus, schafft dieses stilisierte Spielfeld eine authentische Atmosphäre, die den Fußballfan auch abseits des Stadions begeistern wird. Schwarzweiße Melodiendas Nationalhymnen-RatenRaus aus dem Büro und auf den Rasen gestürmt, zum Nationalhymnen-Raten. Täglich um 12:30 können Sie ihre Fußballkenntnisse im kulturellen Bereich erweitern. Wir bringen mehrere Hymnen zu Gehör; sie wissen – raten - kreuzen an. Die Richtigrater erhalten ein kleines Präsent, die anderen werden Gewinner der Herzen. Textiles aus dem StaatstheaterFußball als der große Ideengeber dieses Jahres, hat auch die Kostüm- und Bühnenbildabteilung der Staatstheater inspiriert.Sie schicken ihre Einfälle über den dekonstruktivistischen Laufsteg. It is the centre of attraction for the guests from Stuttgart, the region and from all over the world. The Julius Bär See-Arena offers a space for communication before, during and after the games – and all that in the home town of Jürgen Klinsmann, the coach of the National Soccer Team. Following up to the last successful platform in 2005 during the Festival “Theatre of the world”, Janine Reichel, an architecture student, conceptualised this deconstructive pitch. Just enjoy in the middle of an urban area the beautiful view at the constructional ensemble around the Eckensee and savour the international ambiance of this sporting event. This stylised pitch with soccer’s lawn beneath your feet and the goals as bars arranges an authentic atmosphere and will inspire the soccer fan also beside the stadium.
